Representative Shelly Duncan was elected to represent Wyoming House District 05 in 2018. She currently serves on the House Corporations, Elections & Political Subdivisions and is Vice Chairman of House Minerals, Business & Economic Development Committees. As a part of these committees, Representative Duncan has a strong voice in areas most important to Wyoming including energy development, small business and economic development as well as ensuring our elections remain free, fair and secure.
Representative Duncan is a licensed Realtor® and opened her own real estate office in 2015. She has served as the President of Wyoming Realtors® and on the National Association of Realtors® Risk Management, Professional Standards, Housing Opportunity (Chairman 2021), and Broker Involvement Committees, as well as the prestigious Housing Opportunity Grant Review subcommittee for two years. She regularly volunteers throughout the community and recently developed Totes for Hope to tackle youth homelessness.
Representative Duncan has been happily married to her husband of 30+ years, Eric. Eric is a 22-year veteran of the Air National Guard and Union Pacific Railroad employee. Together they have three sons (Randall, Jesse and Ian) a daughter in law, and 2 grandkids. Representative Duncan is proud of the fact that all three of her sons are graduates of Lingle-Fort Laramie High School.
